*sigh*

so i fell in love with David just a little bit more tonight. i was rocking him, singing to him, and giving him his bedtime bottle just a little bit ago, and he was just staring into my eyes and having the softest cheeks ever, and i fell in love again. This whole motherhood thing? Totally worth it. i love that he woke up from his late afternoon nap a fussy baby, and by the time i put him to bed, he was a smily, gurgly baby with shining eyes and an easy laugh. i also love that i put him down awake, and he's just been talking to his mobile for a while, and is now probably sleeping, as he hasn't made a peep in 5 minutes. What a darling little gift.
