Two days ago Wednesday Kris and i went to Valleyfair. It was really fun. He bought for my birthday/mother's day two season passes to there, so we went for the first time in two years. It was so fun! We got good exercise, sun, and fun while we were there, plus we packed a lunch so we hardly spent any money while we were there (quite an accomplishment.) We picked up a season parking pass too. So now we can go there any time someone will watch David. We're already planning on going again Sunday. It's wonderful to be able to go there with Kris and just hold hands and not have David and walk around.
After we were pretty tired, Kris took me to see a movie (Waitress) that he'd promised to take me to for weeks. So the dialogue was super cute, and i really enjoyed the awkward kind of relationships in the movie, but pretty much everyone was cheating on their spouses, and it got really annoying, and towards the end i was just tired of trying to enjoy it despite unfaithfulness, which i hate. Thankfully, all the cheating relationships ended up unhappily, so at least it was true to life, but it was just too much. It was like the movie "Closer" which had a great cast and writing, but it turned my stomach over because of all the darned unfaithfulness. i was pretty disappointed with it.
David is having a rough time. That kid has been teething for like 2 weeks. i'm beginning to think a tooth is stuck, because he's been drooling like a faucet for days and has been so fussy, but not a tooth yet, though i can feel where one is on his poor little gum:( Can a tooth get stuck?
