Ba!

Oh yes, guess what? Last week was a very important one for David.

We were at Walmart, and he pointed at something and said "Ba". i looked where he pointed and it was one of those huge bins of bouncy balls!

i wish it had been me who taught him that. Not that we haven't worked on it, but the night before it happened, my mother-in-law spent a good portion of the night trying to teach him to say ball. And the next day, he did. Oh well, sometimes you need to learn from different places, right?

Anyway, i feel like i can really say with confidence that his first word (finally, at the age of 18 months) is "Ba(ll)".

Yay!
