- Of television programs that aired before you were born, what’s your favorite? "Welcome Back, Kotter". If nothing else, i love the theme song.
- What person of historical significance was from your neighborhood or city? Not sure if he was "from" where i grew up, but Kent Hrbek (a famous MN Twin) lived/lives in the city where i grew up.
- What’s a story that’s often been told about someone in your family in the years before you came along? The summer before my mom left for college, she worked on her family farm, like super full-time. She worked her butt off the whole summer, and her "pay" was a transistor radio, or something like that. It was a big deal, i guess. Maybe the equivalent of getting an IPod touch after a summer of work?
- Which of previous generations’ dumb mistakes (in deed or thought) baffles you the most? Um, when people thought jazz was "the devil's music".
- What aspect of life in the good old days would you love to see a return to? Victorian style dressing. Think the clothes Samantha the American Girl would have worn. i would LOVE to go back to the beautiful dresses, restrictive corsets and all!
