We had David's second birthday party last Sunday. It has taken me three days to get to posting about it, because, well, i'm pretty birthdayed out. It went very well! It was mostly for family and people that are basically like family. i think 19 were there besides Kris and David and i. Many fewer kids, but that means more adults (=more chairs required!)
The food was awesome, in my humble opinion. But truthfully, everyone raved about it and i will be publishing the recipes in my food blog, which has about 2 inches of dust on it. i will update it soon with my sun-dried tomato hummus recipe, requested by Liz, and my meatloaf cupcake recipes and my salsa recipe.
David had a pretty good time, but he was clingy to me and to my mom that night. It's funny how he'll pick completely different people to cling to! Anyway, i think he was tired from the exhaustion of the day before, and not getting a nap 2 days in a row would make any serial napper clingy!
Kris' and my two adorable nieces were there.

He liked it alot!
i was the assigned photographer that day, so unfortunately not many good pictures were taken, but he enjoyed opening his gifts. Seriously, best toys EVER. He will be playing with his stackable cups and cool Fisher-Price doggie for weeks!
It was a wonderful party. And it's over, which is slightly more wonderful.
